The main activity of the Supplementary School is on Saturdays. Work starts at noon and ends at 5.30. There are three one-hour lessons in English, Maths and Science

The  students attending the school are divided for teaching into groups of 12, according to their year in mainstream school and their level of attainment. While we follow the British National Curriculum, we retain many elements of African pedagogy, like competition and the fact that promotions are won, not granted. There is an end of term test in each subject. Students win positions in their year group. They move up or down according to their performance.
